Did you know that weight loss pharma could become around 50% cheaper very soon.
On Friday 20th March 2026 the #patent on semaglutide which is the molecule behind the likes of #Ozempic and #Wegovy, expires in India.
This means in #India they can start producing generic copies and that could slash prices for wight loss products by more than 50% very quickly.
Although this is only going to affect India in the first instance, I think generic brands are going to start to arrive in other countries very soon afterwards.
Which is great news for people like me that rely upon weight loss pharma to keep my obesity under control.
