This morning I noticed a post on Instagram saying that Carrefour had closed all of it’s branches in Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan.
Now I’m a big fan of Carrefour, so I decided to fact check this. And yes indeed, it would appear that Majid Al Futtaim the Dubai-based group were closing branches of Carrefour, and seemingly replacing them with branches of HyperMax.
If I hear anything more on this subject, I’ll let you know.
